Limestone is generally used as in tile format or as a wall cladding. The available shades and tonality are perfect for catering today’s lifestyles. Generally limestone is appropriate for bathrooms, fireplaces, counters and less-travelled flooring where a more informal decor is desired. Due to its oil-resistant properties, Limestone shows high resistance in freezing and thawing conditions. Limestone is basically made up of sedimentary rocks that are formed at the bottom of lakes and seas, as silt and organic matter settle to the bottom and as more and more layers build up millions of years, adding more and more weight, heat and pressure cause chemical reactions to take place to harden the sediments into solid stone.
